Reflecting Deeply on Stupidity

The madness starts again.

In another post I commented on the (excessive) reflections that I had to write for graduate school last semester. I was hoping that this semester might be a bit lighter in the reflection department.

Alas, my hopes were dashed Thursday night when my (new) professor gave out a syllabus that was strikingly similar to the prior syllabus. In fact, it was the same syllabus, only with some minor changes (you know, like subject title and stuff). Seems as though new professor asked old professor for her syllabus format and liked the reflection business so much that she decided to keep it.

Good god.

Great. Reflecting on reflections. Just like 蜡笔小新 commented about.

Maybe the advisor just like the idea of not writing another syllabus.

I can see its appeal.
