During the course of a coverage last week, an eighth grade boy found this in his desk. I showed it to an AP, and after he decided that it would be impossible to track the "owner" down, I put it into my briefcase and promptly forgot about it.
It appears to have been manipulated to be some sort of "shocking" mechanism. Nice, huh?
It's now in the possession of the school.
